Texas High School Basketball - Austin can't hold off Waltrip
January 12, 2024: Houston, TX 77023 The Waltrip Rams basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Austin Mustangs to 77 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milby for a 5A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Waltrip will battle a Buffs team coming off a 72-70 league loss to Austin (Houston, TX). The Buffs record now stands at 8-14.
The Mustangs (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Houston, TX). The Panthers enter the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 7-10 record.
