January 12, 2024: Pearcy, AR 71964 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) and the host Lake Hamilton Wolves (Pearcy, AR), saw Benton's basketball squad hold off Lake Hamilton by a tally of 71-66.
With the victory, Benton improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sheridan (Sheridan, AR) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 5A South challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Sheridan won 66-45 in their recent league challenge against White Hall (White Hall, AR)
Next up, the Wolves confront the El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR) in a 5A South challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Lake Hamilton will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 59-57 league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR).
