February 1, 2024: Benton, AR 72015 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) and the visiting Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR), saw Benton's basketball squad overcome Sheridan by a tally of 55-41.
With the victory, Benton improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to White Hall (White Hall, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A South challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. White Hall lost 64-52 in their recent league challenge against Lake Hamilton (Pearcy, AR)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Beebe Badgers (Beebe, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 50-41 league loss to Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR).
