The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Rock Hill Bearcats to 36 in the Yellow Jackets league victory on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Fort Mill will battle a Vikings team coming off a 49-47 league loss to Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-7.

The Bearcats (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Falcons come into the AAAAA Region 3 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Nation Ford was routed by Blythewood (Blythewood, SC), 70-61, in a league contest.
