The Patriots now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Caldwell for a 3A/4A Northwestern battle on Tuesday, January 16. Freedom will confront a Spartans team coming off a 69-51 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 9-6.
The Panthers (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies come into the 3A/4A Northwestern battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Ashe County beat Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 54-48, in a league battle.
