Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 82-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Greenbrier West upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Midland Trail (Hico, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

Next up, the Lumberjacks clash with the Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV) in a Coalfield A bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 61-30 league loss to Mount View (Welch, WV).
