West Virginia High School Basketball - Meadow Bridge nips Richwood
December 12, 2023: Meadow Bridge, WV 25976 Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 45-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Meadow Bridge upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to James Monroe (Lindside, WV) to play the Mavericks in a Coalfield A bout on Friday, December 15. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 1-1. James Monroe lost 53-38 in their recent non-league bout against Narrows (Narrows, VA)
Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 70-55 league loss to Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
