West Virginia High School Basketball - Montcalm trounces Meadow Bridge
January 3, 2024: Montcalm, WV 24747 The Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), 54-33 in Wednesday's league test.
The Generals (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Richwood was trounced by Webster County (Upper Glade, WV), 96-40, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Pocahontas County for a Potomac Valley A test on Friday, January 5. Meadow Bridge will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 55-46 league loss to Moorefield (Moorefield, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
