Washington High School Basketball - Naches Valley holds off La Salle
January 12, 2024: Union Gap, WA 98903 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Naches Valley Rangers (Naches, WA) and the host La Salle Lightning (Union Gap, WA), saw Naches Valley's basketball squad hold off La Salle by a tally of 61-55.
With the victory, Naches Valley improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Zillah (Zillah, WA) to confront the Leopards in a 1A South Central - West challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 13-0. Zillah won 75-45 in their recent league challenge against Toppenish (Toppenish, WA)
Next up, the Lightning confront the Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. La Salle will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 48-30 league win over Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA).
