North Carolina High School Basketball - Lejeune knocked off by Pamlico County

January 12, 2024: Bayboro, NC 28515

The Pamlico County Hurricanes basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Lejeune Devil Pups to 62 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Carteret for a 1A/2A Coastal Plains contest on Tuesday, January 16. Pamlico County will meet a Mariners team coming off a 73-31 league win over Jones (Trenton, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 8-7.

The Devil Pups (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Panthers enter the 1A/2A Coastal Plains contest with a 12-5 record.
