Virginia High School Basketball - Rustburg overwhelms Liberty

January 12, 2024: Bedford, VA 24523

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) and the host Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), saw Rustburg's basketball squad wallop Liberty by a tally of 84-61.

With the victory, Rustburg improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Seminole challenge on Friday, January 19. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Glass lost 59-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Northside (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Minutemen confront the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
