Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) and the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), saw Rustburg's basketball squad overcome Jefferson Forest by a tally of 60-44.

With the victory, Rustburg improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Celtics in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Celtics come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Roanoke Catholic lost 74-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Jefferson Forest will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Pulaski County (Dublin, VA).
