Maryland High School Basketball - Linganore can't hold off Middletown

The Middletown Knights basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Linganore Lancers to 74 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakdale for a CMC contest on Tuesday, January 16. Middletown will battle a team coming off a 64-58 league win over Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The record now stands at 5-6.

The Lancers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD). The Cougars come into the CMC contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Catoctin was nudged by South Carroll (Sykesville, MD), 75-69, in a non-league contest.
