The Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) basketball nipped the visiting South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), 53-46 in Thursday's league test.

The Lancers (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA). The Phantoms go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Phoenixville was tipped by Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA), 61-58, in a non-league test.

The Rebels now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urbana for a CMC match on Tuesday, January 2.
