Maryland High School Basketball - Urbana tipped by Linganore

The Linganore Lancers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Urbana Hawks to 57 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor Thomas Johnson for a CMC contest on Tuesday, December 12. Linganore will meet a Patriots team coming off a 64-37 non-league loss to Bullis (Potomac, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.

The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD). The enter the CMC contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Oakdale nudged St. James (Hagerstown, MD), 71-52, in a non-league contest.
