January 12, 2024: Burlington, VT 05401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) and the host Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT), saw Champlain Valley Union's basketball squad hold off Burlington by a tally of 46-42.
With the victory, Champlain Valley Union improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Mt. Mansfield lost 55-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)
Next up, the Seahorses confront the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Burlington will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
