North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood fells Anson

January 13, 2023: Wadesboro, NC 28170

Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 78-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Parkwood upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Wolf Pack travel to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a 2A/3A Conference 44 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Forest Hills lost 74-60 in their recent non-league bout against North Stanly (New London, NC)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
