Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD) and the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), saw New Underwood's basketball squad wallop Newell by a count of 69-28.

With the victory, New Underwood upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14.
