Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge trounces Rock Ridge
January 13, 2023: Ashburn, VA 20148 The Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) basketball crushed the host Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), 46-22 in Friday's league test.
The Bolts (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride go into the Dulles test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Heritage walloped Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA), 46-21, in a league test.
The Phoenix now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Loudoun Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Rock Ridge will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 36-28 league win over Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-5.
