California High School Basketball - West Valley crushes Anderson
January 13, 2023: Cottonwood, CA 96022 West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), 54-22 in a league bout.
With the victory, West Valley upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to play the Miners in a bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Yreka won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Anderson (Anderson, CA)
Next up, the Cubs play the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 41-34 league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA).
