The Sage Ridge Scorpions basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons to 30 in the Scorpions league triumph on Friday.

The Scorpions now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smith Valley for a contest on Wednesday, February 1.

The Falcons (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Smith Valley ran past enCompass Academy (Reno, NV), 53-39, in a non-league contest.
