Nevada High School Basketball - Virginia City crushes Sierra Lutheran
January 28, 2023: Virginia City, NV 89440 Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), 54-33 in a league bout.
With the win, Virginia City upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Muckers travel to Coleville (Coleville, CA) to play the Wolves in a bout on Friday, February 3. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Coleville lost 31-23 in their recent league bout against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV)
Next up, the Falcons play the Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 51-31 non-league loss to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV).
