Georgia High School Basketball - Metter nudges Emanuel County Institute
January 13, 2024: Twin City, GA 30471 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) basketball squad edged the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), by a count of 60-55.
The Tigers (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Tigers go into the A D1 Region 3 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Claxton was tipped by Memorial Day (Savannah, GA), 45-39, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Savannah Classical Academy for a A D2 Region 3 outing on Tuesday, January 16. Emanuel County Institute will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 75-16 league loss to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-11.
