New Jersey High School Basketball - Holmdel crushes Freehold Township
January 13, 2024: Holmdel, NJ 07733 Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ), 70-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Holmdel upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Wall Township (Wall, NJ) to play the Crimson Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Crimson Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Wall Township lost 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ)
Next up, the Patriots play the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Freehold Township will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 59-46 non-league loss to St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ).
