In Saturday's league outing, the Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX), by a margin of 56-33.

The Cougars (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Westfield (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region II District 14 outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Westfield smashed Eisenhower (Houston, TX), 63-39, in a league outing.
