The Aldine Mustangs basketball team (Houston, TX), was routed 74-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

The Lions now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Travis for a non-league battle on Monday, December 18. Spring will battle a Tigers team coming off a 60-19 league loss to Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.

The Mustangs (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals come into the 6A Region II District 14 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, MacArthur trounced Eisenhower (Houston, TX), 53-34, in a league battle.
