Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX), 49-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Aldine upgrades its record to 3-19 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 6A Region II District 14 bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Benjamin Davis won 53-45 in their recent league bout against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Dekaney will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-17 record after their 53-45 league loss to Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX).
