January 14, 2023: Pleasant Hill, OH 45359 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH), by a count of 60-29.
The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH). The Arrows go into the Western Ohio outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Preble Shawnee was crushed by Oakwood (Dayton, OH), 53-51, in a non-league outing.
The Jets now hold a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Anna for a Shelby County outing on Friday, January 20.
