Mississippi High School Basketball - Tupelo bests Starkville
January 14, 2025: Tupelo, MS 38801 The Tupelo Golden Wave basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Starkville Yellowjackets to 43 in the Golden Wave league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Wave now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Clinton for a 7A Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Starkville falls to 18-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Germantown (Madison, MS) to confront the Mavericks in a 7A Region 2 game on Friday, January 17. The Mavericks go into the game with a record of 14-3.
