With the victory, Tupelo upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Golden Wave host Murrah (Jackson, MS) to face the Mustangs in a 7A Region 2 match on Friday, January 24. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 5-15. Murrah won 58-50 in their recent non-league match against Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS)
The Arrows now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Starkville for a 7A Region 2 match on Friday, January 24. Clinton will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 50-42 league loss to Germantown (Madison, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 19-7.
