The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) and the visiting Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA), observed New Kent's basketball team edge Warhill by a margin of 77-70.

The Trojans (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders come into the Bay Rivers challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Poquoson was tipped by Bruton (Williamsburg, VA), 54-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Friday, January 17. Warhill will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 66-59 league loss to Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA).
