January 16, 2023: Charleston, WV 25314 The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball nipped the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), 47-46 in Monday's league test.
The Patriots (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights go into the Mountain State test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Cabell Midland got by St. Albans (St. Albans, WV), 73-65, in a league test.
The Flying Eagles now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Buckhannon-Upshur for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14.
