The Mesa Vista Trojans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Pecos Panthers to 48 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Mesa Vista will battle a Eagle team coming off a 86-70 non-league win over Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle record now stands at 5-7.

The Panthers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Del Norte was nudged by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 39-31, in a non-league contest.
