With the victory, Pecos improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to confront the Elks/Elkettes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Elks/Elkettes come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Pojoaque Valley won 59-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Lovington (Lovington, NM)
Next up, the Lobos confront the Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Escalante will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 76-51 non-league loss to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM).
