The McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) basketball nipped the host Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM), 70-68 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Escalante got by Dulce (Dulce, NM), 67-37, in a non-league test.
