January 16, 2024: Aurora, MN 55705 The Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN), 84-66 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Giants (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Cook County (Grand Marais, MN). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Cook County notched a victory over South Ridge (Culver, MN), 68-51, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Cherry for a A Section 7 test on Tuesday, January 23.
