Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) and the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), saw Forest Hills's basketball squad wallop Central Academy by a tally of 58-25.

With the victory, Forest Hills improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Anson (Wadesboro, NC) to confront the Bearcats in a 2A/3A Rocky River challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Anson lost 68-43 in their recent league challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River challenge, on Friday, January 19. Central Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 60-22 league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
