The Northwest Halifax Vikings ran past the host Weldon Chargers basketball team by a final score of 55-35 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke game, on Friday, January 19. Northwest Halifax will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-7 record after their 60-11 non-league loss to Vance County (Henderson, NC).
