January 16, 2025: Buffalo, IL 62515

In Thursday's non-league test, the Athens Warriors (Athens, IL) basketball squad defeated the host Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), by a final score of 58-40.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Athens will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 12-6 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Pawnee (Pawnee, IL).

The Tornadoes (9-11) will now prepare for their test against New Berlin (New Berlin, IL). The Pretzels come into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, New Berlin went down by Pawnee (Pawnee, IL), 37-33, in a non-league test.
