In Tuesday's non-league test, the Athens Warriors (Athens, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), by a score of 50-41.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Delavan Panthers (Delavan, IL) in a Tomahawk test, on Friday, January 10. Athens will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 52-7 league win over Greenview (Greenview, IL).

The Tornadoes (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Olympia beat Midwest Central (Manito, IL), 81-50, in a non-league test.
