Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Heights Mustangs (Kismet, KS) and the host Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS), saw Southwestern Heights's basketball squad overcome Wichita County by a tally of 48-40.

With the victory, Southwestern Heights improves its record to 1-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Syracuse (Syracuse, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Syracuse won 71-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Stanton County (Johnson, KS)

Next up, the Indians play the Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Wichita County will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record.
