New York High School Basketball - Middletown nips Kingston
January 17, 2023: Middletown, NY 10940 Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY), 71-68 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Middletown upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Middie Bears travel to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY) to play the Goldbacks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Goldbacks go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Newburgh Free Academy won 62-50 in their recent non-league bout against Warwick (Warwick, NY)
Next up, the Tigers play the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Kingston will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 66-38 non-league loss to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY).
