New York High School Basketball - Newburgh Free Academy knocked off by Kingston
January 3, 2023: Kingston, NY 12401 The Kingston Tigers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenendehowa for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4.
The Goldbacks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Bushmen enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Pine Bush ran past Warwick (Warwick, NY), 57-36, in a non-league contest.
