January 17, 2024: New Waverly, TX 77358 In Wednesday's league outing, the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) basketball squad felled the host New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX), by a margin of 66-56.
The Longhorns (18-10) will now prepare for their outing against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls go into the 3A Region III District 23 outing with a 8-13 record. In their last bout, Anderson-Shiro was knocked off by Onalaska (Onalaska, TX), 80-63, in a league bout.
