The Trojans (23-7) will now prepare for their test against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls go into the 3A Region III District 23 test with a 8-16 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-18 record. They play next when they travel to Shepherd for a 3A Region III District 23 test on Friday, February 2. New Waverly will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 48-33 league loss to Crockett (Crockett, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 17-13.
