Texas High School Basketball - Holy Cross Catholic Academy crushes Southcrest Christian
January 17, 2025: Amarillo, TX 79110 The Holy Cross Catholic Academy Mustangs (Amarillo, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Southcrest Christian (Lubbock, TX), 98-56 in Friday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 20-3 record. They play next when they host Christ the King Cathedral for a TAPPS 2A District 1 bout on Saturday, January 18. Holy Cross Catholic Academy will play a Golden Lions team coming off a 56-20 league loss to All Saints Episcopal School (Lubbock, TX). The Golden Lions record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Southcrest Christian falls to 12-14 on the campaign. The travel to Kingdom Prep Academy (Lubbock, TX) to play the Warriors in a TAPPS 2A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
