Texas High School Basketball - Ascension Academy trounced by Holy Cross Catholic Academy
December 30, 2024: Amarillo, TX 79110 Holy Cross Catholic Academy Mustangs (Amarillo, TX) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ascension Academy Cardinals (Amarillo, TX), 96-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Holy Cross Catholic Academy advances its record to 15-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Holy Cross (Midland, TX) to face the Crusaders in a TAPPS 2A District 1 match on Thursday, January 2. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 4-1.
The Cardinals now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christ the King Cathedral for a TAPPS 2A District 1 match on Friday, January 3.
