The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) and the host Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), observed Locust Grove's basketball team edge Jones County by a score of 48-44.

The Wildcats (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against McDonough (McDonough, GA). The Warhawks come into the AAAA Region 2 challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, McDonough edged Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 84-45, in a league challenge.
