In Saturday's league test, the McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA) basketball squad trounced the host Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), by a score of 66-40.

Next, the Warhawks clash with the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, January 21. McDonough will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 61-57 league loss to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA).

The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Hornets come into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Hampton bounced Forest Park (Forest Park, GA), 43-42, in a non-league test.
