The South Iredell Vikings basketball squad (Statesville, NC), was crushed 76-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC)

With the victory, Lake Norman advances its record to 16-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a 4A Greater Metro battle on Wednesday, January 22. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 15-2. Mooresville won 82-44 in their recent league battle against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)
